An Unfinished Boro Cotton Jacket: Wearable
$85.00 USD
early twentieth century
34" x 46", 86.5 cm x 117 cm
shoulder to hem x sleeve tip to sleeve tip
This is the shell of a cotton jacket whose lining has been removed which accounts for its unfinished state.
It is shown here inside-out in order for its patches and seams to be noticed: the jacket is completely hand stitched from a recycled cotton kimono that has been re-fashioned into a short jacket.
Although this is an unfinished coat it is still completely wearable; as it is unlined it can be a very smart casual jacket.
Really lovely with good, old cotton cloth and very good old stitching.
