A Bolt of Yukata Cloth: Commercially Woven Cotton
$45.00 USD
mid to late twentieth century
approximately 13 yards x 13 1/2", 12 m x 34.25 cm
This is an unused tanmono or bolt of commercially woven and dyed cotton that is destined to become a yukata, an unlined, casual summer kimono.
By the looks of the subtle and dense blue-on-white pattern it seems that this cotton bolt was intended to make a man's yukata: the identifying labels are still present on this bolt which is still stitched closed.
Great for making a yukata or for other craft projects.
