Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This is a very handsome zokin which is sewn from recycled cotton cloth. The sashiko stitching is beautifully executed in green and white and adds charm to this otherwise utilitarian cloth, as do the contrasting cotton cloth that can be seen on both front and back corners of this zokin.
A very good looking zokin with lovely stitching.
