A Beautifully Sashiko Stitched Cloth: Hemp Leaf Pattern

This long, rectangular shaped cotton cloth is made from two layers and is sashiko stitched using bright white thread in a very bold design of three, large-scale asa no ha or hemp leaf motifs.

The dark toned, striped cotton is a lovely foil against the sashiko stitching which is a network of radiating lines, each set emanating from five points.

This sashiko stitched cloth seems to be in pristine, never-used condition, and it is beautifully done.
