bottom left: 15" x 5 1/2", 38 cm x 14 cm

This is a very nice trio of narrow pieces of old, hand spun, hand woven cotton that was dyed in the shibori method in northeastern Japan. The shibori is rustic in its execution and beautiful because of it.

The pieces are narrow in width and, as such, it can be understood that they were culled from the collar areas of kimono.

The set is great for inspiration, research or for some kind of application in a design, quilting or apparel project.

A beautiful group.
