A Collection of Gradient Ginned Chawata: Naturally Brown Cotton

This is a group of chawata as it is called in Japan, or, naturally occurring brown toned cotton.

This set of chawata shows about 3 different color tones, all of them said to be natural to the plant. The cotton shown here has been ginned so it does not contain seeds.

This, of course, is a fascinating and rare material, and one that is eager to be hand spun into  yarn.
