A Handsome Length of Striped Cotton: Hand Spun Cotton Yarns

This is a length of very handsome, simply designed woven striped cotton.

The cloth shows wide stripes of in rather warm indigo and greyish tones set against wide stripes of a dark indigo color. The cloth is in good, used condition with some faint overall surface wear but very little fading.

This is a good looking length of old, hand loomed, striped cotton that was taken from a futon cover. The hand spun yarns add character and are exactly what you want to see from an old Japanese folk textile.
