An Unusual Striped Cotton Mosquito Net Section: Beautiful Backlit

This is a soft cotton mesh mosquito net composed of four panels of striped cloth. Striped mosquito netting like this type is not at all common.

Such striped mesh is not easy to come by and this one with its fourteen patches and nicely faded color tones of safflower and indigo is a beauty,

The cloth is enlivened in a very different way when backlit as the lead photo attests to; the patches and seams are plainly visible and the textile glows in a beautiful way--were you to acquire this piece it would be a treat if you were able to hang it in front of a window so you can enjoy this effect (over time there will be sun bleaching, however).

There are some faint stains to the bottom of the cloth and the patches are all hand stitched to the base.
