A Small Cotton Drawstring Bag: Bats
ca. early to mid twentieth century
6 1/2" x 8" x 4", 16.5 cm x 20.5 cm x 10 cm
This is a small cotton drawstring bag which shows a repeat pattern of abstracted bats, this motif being interspersed by a repeat of three parallel lines.
The cotton is heavy and the drawstring is intact. The two bone closures, one on the front/ one on the back, of the bag are original to the bag and each is damaged.
The bag is lined in white cotton, is in fairly good condition, and is still very usable.
