When first made it would have had sleeves but they have since been removed. More than likely the sleeve would have been fabricated of a cloth different than that of the body.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe pink color is certainly of synthetic dye, however it is probably meant to harken back to the days when safflower--or \u003cem\u003ebenibana \u003c\/em\u003eas it is known in Japan--was used to achieve this kind of fuchsia tone, and, additionally, often undergarments were dyed in this color.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe pattern is a large scale \u003cem\u003ekumo\u003c\/em\u003e or spiderweb \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.srithreads.com\/collections\/shibori\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eshibori \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003ewhich is done in a cool, reddish pink tone, a nice hue to be layered on top of the lighter toned magenta ground. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn the garment are very pale, blueish colored stains, very faint and almost not worth mentioning, but do see them as indicated on the accompanying detail photos.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe hand stitched garment is in otherwise good, used condition with its color still vibrant and its pattern exuberant.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRich and delightful.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Sri","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45802714824890,"sku":null,"price":145.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0070\/9422\/files\/ShibPink45.jpg?v=1777406972","url":"https:\/\/www.srithreads.com\/products\/a-richly-toned-pink-shibori-han-juban-two-tone","provider":"Sri","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
