A Long Beautifully Colored Indigo Cotton Length: Two Patches

This long, hand loomed length of indigo dyed patched cotton has been taken from a futon cover.

The medium tone blue color is really wonderfully bright and clear; the medium weight cotton is extremely lovely and shows a very subtle striped variegation along the warp yarns.

There are two patches to the top of the cloth, one which is "L" shaped and the other which shows some interesting stitching within it.

A really beautiful length of boro cotton from old Japan, this piece shows fine color and a good quality, hand loomed cotton.
