A Length of Patched Hemp Kaya: Blue Green/Green Blue

This is a wonderful length of rustic, indigo dyed hemp cloth.  This is a panel from a kaya or mosquito netting, hence the very loose, open weave of the cloth.

The color is a very warm blue which could look blue-ish or green-ish depending on the ambient light conditions; the hemp yarns are wiry and have taken the dye in a slightly uneven fashion, which adds to the country appeal of this length.

The two applied patches add a little extra charm to this good sized length.

A lovely length of old kaya.
