A Length of Boldly Patterned Kasuri Cotton: Large Scale Graphics

This is a handsomely designed length of kasuri cotton.

Because of the colors used and the elegant, geometric design it recalls or suggests a kind of Art Deco feeling.

The stepped, alternating, diagonally-set bands of silver and black give a striking visual impact. The pattern very easily could be a riff on a traditional pattern of arrow feathers.

The yellow toned, warp-based stripes that run through the design add a bit of depth of color however they are surprisingly unobtrusive on the effect of the silver and black-themed pattern.

Very attractive and well-designed, this is a good-looking length of kasuri cotton in an elegant pattern.

The length is composed of two pieces that are hand stitched together, one of them being 4 3/4" or 12 cm in length.
