A Group of Seven Red and White Shibori Fragments: Small Pieces

each of the six small pieces approximately: 12 1/4" x 6", 31 cm x 15 cm
large piece: 12" x 17 1/4", 30.5 cm x 43.5 cm

This is a collection of seven different small pieces of red-on-white cotton shibori, each showing a different technique.  The red tone is madder-like although its likely that the dyes are synthetic and not from nature.

Still, this is a sensational little set of beautifully realized shibori fragments either for study or for use in a craft, art or sewing project.
