$37.00 USD

mid twentieth century
each length approximately: 50" x 6 1/4", 127 cm x 16 cm

Shown here are five, narrow lengths of indigo dyed cotton shibori, each piece of cloth being taken from the collar, or eri, section of a yukata, which is an unlined, cotton summer kimono.

Each of the pieces is of a different dimension; the overall approximate size of each is shown above. The selection represented here were all made in the early to mid twentieth century, and each shows some creases and fading from wear. Please note one faint stain as indicated on the accompanying detail photo.

A wonderful sampler and one that can be easily applied to any fashion or art endeavor.   Ingrained creases and a slight stain (mentioned above) from previous use, otherwise in good, clear condition.
