A Group of Five Narrow Shibori Lengths: Indigo Dyed Cotton

$55.00 USD

early to mid twentieth century
approximate size of each: 72" x 7", 183 cm x 8 cm

Shown here are five narrow lengths of indigo dyed cotton shibori, each piece of cloth being taken from the collar, or eri, section of a yukata, which is an unlined, cotton summer kimono.

Each of the pieces is of a different dimension; the approximate size is shown above: the selection represented here were all made in the early to mid twentieth century, and each shows some ingrained creases and fading from wear.

A wonderful sampler and one that can be easily applied to any fashion or art endeavor.  Ingrained creases from previous use; a faint stain on the length on the far right.

A lovely group.
