This hard bound small book contains 9 swatches of intricately woven kasuri samples, each of which measures 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" or 7 cm x 10.75 cm.

The samples are glued to a cardboard page. 

The swatches are all rendered in tones of brown, from deep to light. The intricacy of the woven patterns are are amazingly complex and each is rich in visual interest.

Taken from a kimono weaver or broker, this sample book is a great inspiration for artists, designers or those interested in any kind of textile.
