A Length of Patched Kasuri Cotton: Attractive Design

What a wonderfully sophisticated design on this indigo dyed cotton kasuri length.

Inside the middle channel of a large scale plaid we see pairs of vertical dashes that are staggered as they travel up the length of the cloth. The manner in which each pair fades into an indigo space before they appear again is really fun to look at.

The cloth itself shows light fading overall and the surface shows some pitting or small holes.

There is a boldly positioned mending patche of black cotton which add a visual punch or contrast to the very nice base cloth.

This is a good length of indigo dyed cotton kasuri for its intriguing and clever design--there are some small holes or pitting to the surface, none terribly noticeable.
