A Hand Spun Cotton Length of Katazome: Light and Dark Chrysanthemums

This is a length of densely hand woven indigo dyed cotton that seems to be woven from hand spun yarns. The length at 64" or 162.5 cm is generous and the weaving is tight.

The color is also a rich indigo tone which boosts the effect of the pattern of stacked and symmetrically placed light and dark stylized chrysanthemums.

The length was taken from a futon cover where this kind of large-scale repeat pattern was used.

It is in good, used condition with a tiny nick to the top, right of the cloth shown in the lead photo.
