A Length of Stenciled Hemp: Mid Century Stylized Leaf Motif

This is curious length of cloth: curious because it is hand stitched from five distinct pieces of woven hemp and because it bears an unusual, hand stenciled image of what appears to be two highly stylized leaves.
Most likely this was taken from a futon cover, but one cannot be sure. The piecing of the hemp cloth is unusual as is the decidedly mid-century-looking stenciled design.
Extremely faint discoloration in the area of the leaves and at another point along the length: this is very hard to see depending on the light in which it is viewed.
A nice piece of out-of-the-ordinary hemp cloth.
