A Length of Boldly Patterned Plaid Cotton: One Patch

This length of large-scale checked cloth shows an unusual coloration: the mood is somber and the tones are almost drab, which make this an interesting-looking length of hand loomed cotton.

The effect is a discreet one and the colors used are rather peculiar in combination.  

The length shows some patina from wear and some light, over all ingrained dirt from years of service as a futon cover.

Note, of course, the one, bold colored patch on the proper, left center of this length, adding a bit of contrast to the overall design.
